Weather maps indicate that the southern Arabian Peninsula will be affected by an influx of tropical moisture, making the weather in the Sultanate of Oman volatile, ranging from partly cloudy to cloudy at times across many states and governorates. There is a chance of drizzle in several areas, particularly those overlooking the Arabian Sea, including the city of Salalah. It is possible that the drizzle will be heavy at times.

Forecasts also indicate the possibility of cumulus clouds forming over some areas of the Al Hajar Mountains, accompanied by thunderstorms.
